Year-Round Outreaches to America's Disadvantaged Youth
Youth Haven is an amazing operation that truly surprised us. The scope of their work and the fact that they run full programming year-round was honestly inspiring. Every week of the year, this staff works to provide a literal haven for children and youth who aren't often allowed to just relax and play. As much as we are privileged in America, there are children in every community who experience hardships we cannot understand. Camp affords those children the opportunity to be a kid again, and to experience the love, acceptance, and hope that Jesus has to offer. No child pays to come to Youth Haven - they are welcomed and covered by the generosity of people who understand the power of camp. Youth Haven was an inspiring place to be, and their staff and volunteers filled our one week there with joyful memories.
