About Camp to Camp
Camp to Camp is a project seeking to provide perspective on what is happening in Christian camping to show that it is relevant, viable, and valuable. We love camp, and we want to show the world why they should love camp too.
We are traveling across the country in a renovated 1976 Dutchcraft camper, visiting camps and conference centers from coast to coast. We want to work alongside each ministry, and will serve the camps in whatever (we mean whatever) capacity they need us most. In exchange, we simply ask that each camp allow us to live, work, and play among their staff and campers as we get to know their individual camp culture. We will film and write about our adventures at each camp, feature their ministries on our website, and gain as much insight as possible into how they "do camp."
Along the way, we will be collecting information on the structures, systems, and innovations of Christian camping in America. We hope to learn about the similarities and differences between camps, as well as collect stories of what camp is doing in people's lives. We will share this information via film and writing, with the hope that it will show the world what we know to be true - camp can make a difference.
